As I began to evolve and rise in consciousness, my frequency began to shift and others began to ask me what changed. I would tell them that I started meditating, spent more time in nature, and changed my diet because that is what I attributed to most of my growth.
However, as time moved forward, I began to analyze my journey over the years.
I began to realize that some days I wouldn't mediate, I would go weeks sometimes without getting out into nature, and my diet fluctuated from all natural foods to more processed foods over time.
So it couldn't be those things that ignited my transformation I thought, it may have added to my transformation but wasn't the catalyst that shifted everything.
The catalyst was actually when I began working with my Ancestors by way of an altar, through working with my altar I was able to empower my ancestors which ultimately empowered myself. And as I began to empower them things began to really change for me and shift. Looking back on the years, the one thing that has stayed consistent along my journey has been ancestor altar work and I believe that everyone on their spiritual awakening journey could benefit from creating one.
