Host the perfect murder mystery party... and get away with it!
Welcome to Golden Revolver Games! My name is Chloe, and my partner Dave and I create original murder mystery parties.
We started creating murder mysteries after throwing a New Year's Eve murder mystery party for our families during the Covid lockdown. We all enjoyed it so much; it transported us back in time and provided the escapism and glamour we all needed. We decided we wanted to bring that escapism to others. We believe that murder mystery games are so much fun as they allow you to be transported to another world, and because they bring people together to interact in a novel way. Creating these games has become our joint obsession!
In 2022 we created our first murder mystery from scratch; ‘Fright at the Museum’. We dreamed up the characters, invented their secrets and relationships and devised the mystery. Since then, we've made many more games together, from the comfort of our sofa after our day jobs. Each murder mystery game takes us upwards of 3 months to make as we hand draw every character, write every word from scratch, draw every clue and carefully design the look and feel of our games. We really enjoy creating our games together and take pride in the quality of each one - we don't use AI in any capacity nor will we.
We have always loved murder mystery novels and are most drawn to the stories where you can empathise with the murderer to a degree. I have also been writing stories for as long as I can remember. This is why I take so much pleasure in writing a rich story. We want to create interesting characters with a full backstory so that the motive is believable and compelling. Dave has a passion for puzzles and games, so whilst there are red herrings and distractions, you can be sure that you will have all the tools to deduce who the murderer is!
