In 2011, I left the States to spend a year loving on the lost, broken and poor of this world. A year of traveling the globe as a missionary (with my Nikon) has gifted me with a catalog of amazing images -- of the people and places I encountered during that time. Since then, that catalog has grown from recent adventures in places like Israel, Italy and around the US. Simultaneously, over the past year, inspiration has been pouring through the sweet voices of friends and family members, encouraging me to sell my photography online. So, in October 2013, I decided to launch the go(o)d camera etsy shop -- to share with the world all the beautiful things I've been blessed to experience over the last few years of my life.

Traveling, adventure, romance and whimsy are each a part of my DNA. And so is photography. Thank you for allowing me the joy of sharing myself and my photography with you. I hope you enjoy viewing the world through my go(o)d camera.

Why go(o)d camera? The title “go(o)d camera” comes from a serendipitous email exchange with a friend/mentor on a day when I was seriously doubting my photography skills. In her message, she expressed her appreciation of the photographs I had taken while on an 11-month long mission trip. To her kudos I replied, “I’ve been richly blessed to have a good camera to capture it all with.” But where I meant to write “good camera”, I accidentally wrote “god camera” instead. My friend quickly wrote back, “Note your Freudian slip… a “god camera” – seems like a great description!” Karen, I couldn’t agree more.
