Gooseberry Designs is a creative design studio based the beautiful cities of Camas, Washington and Saratoga, California. We create and design our illustrations and products by hand.
Our focus is creating stylish map illustrations, home goods and stationery with a whimsical flair. Our designs are more than just lines on paper. Maps represent where we come from, where we have been and where we are going. The imagery reminds us of places near and dear to our hearts and important moments in our lives and we love to share that vibe with our customers. It makes us so happy to hear your stories and memories, when you connect with one of our map illustrations.
Leaving behind a career in neuroscience, I started Gooseberry Designs in 2006. When my husband and I learned that we were going to have a baby, it sparked a motivation to try new things in my life. I knew I didn't want to be away from my newborn and I saw it as the perfect time to pursue my passion for art and design. It’s been nearly 20 years since we started this little business and I am so fortunate that each day at work is still as challenging and rewarding as when we first got started - I can’t imagine doing anything else.
Today, we are three generations of women working and creating together. We frequently pop up at art and holiday fairs. We look forward to meeting you!
