A girl with a dream to leave the corporate world behind.
I come from a creative family and have been painting and crafting since I was a kid. As a young girl I would sit and watch my mom paint and thought it was magical - I can still remember the smell of her oil paints.
I have always really disliked corporate jobs but always find myself in the corporate world as a necessary means to support my family. But often dream about being able to support my family with my own small business - nothing sounds more amazing than being my own boss and making my children proud.
In 2019 I had the beginnings of a successful photography business but unfortunately it came to halt due to covid.
During covid, like many others, I taught myself a new craft with polymer clay - I loved it! I made gothic earrings and necklaces for everyone I knew and even sold them for a short time. However, working with the clay was too hard on my hands.
For the past 3 years I have been trying to rebuild my photography and graphic design business and began painting again - I reopened my Etsy shop in 2023. I am so thankful for the support my small business has received and all the wonderful customers I have met along the way. Every day feels like one step closer to accomplishing my dream.
Life just doesn't feel right if I am not doing something creative.
