U.S.A. Customer Notice: Shipping Fees INCLUDE your pre-paid Import Tariff/Duty Fees. We offer DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) via Canada Post with tracking.

Despite recent changes in U.S. government regulations, including the removal of the ‘de minimis’ exemption (a duty-free treatment on parcels under $800 from all countries) and the introduction of a 35% import tariff, this shop is resuming shipment of MOST orders to the United States. USA shipping fees will now include import tariffs/duties.

Canadian shops are being forced to pre-pay (apply DDP) on USA sales even though this is the sole responsibility of the customer/purchaser/importer. Raising item prices to compensate for pre-paid tariff fees only perpetuates higher tariff rates for the customer so we are including them in your shipping fees. Glass requires safe packaging. Packages, depending on season, can take up to 14 business days for delivery to the USA [Although my items usually arrive sooner]. There could be delivery delays due to the busy season or severe weather conditions.

HISTORY OF MY BUSINESS:

***Gothic Glass Studio® prides itself in designing quality art glass. During a span of over 20 years, I have developed the skills, practice and understanding of the many tools, materials and glass that are essential and valuable in creating quality art.

Glass art is an exact craft and labour intensive. It requires many hours to meticulously draw my own patterns and select and purchase suitable colours and textures of glass for each design.

Each piece & EVERY piece is hand cut, hand assembled by grinding & shaping, copper foiled & soldered. The soldered piece is washed, polished and hanging hardware attached.

I create art glass suncatchers and ArtzyGlazzy™ Jewelry from my home in Nova Scotia. My designs have captured the international attention of those who have an appreciation for unique, one-of-a-kind art.

My designs are inspired by Gothic tradition and I moderate it with today’s culture where the glamorizing affect of the sun and glass remain unchanged.
And...it reflects my inner Gothesque and vampishness, too!

Gothic style architecture originated in 12th century France in castles, palaces and cathedrals. The Gothic style was an expression appealing to the emotions as seen in its characteristic pointed arch, ribbed vault, flying buttress and most notably, the Rose window.
