Thank you for visiting my shop at MorningGloryStudio52. I am a Registered Nurse who has finally been able to retire after 44 years! I have always enjoyed doing artsy kinds of things, and so my "retirement" must include doing the things I love. For me, that means making beautiful items from fabric, getting out on Lake Huron, gardening, quilting, jewelry making, finding unique vintage items, and hanging out with my hubby, grandkids, Great Pyrenees dog, and three cats, a Tortoise Shell and two Bengals. Thank you for taking a look at the fun goodies in my shop. I have a good supply of fabrics in my studio and can make something custom for you, just ask! In 2024 I decided to branch out and also offer some cool vintage hard-to-find items in my shop. Having owned an antique mall some years ago, I still have the bug, and a good eye, for lovely vintage items that others will love too. I love these placemats, they are bright and fun. The fabric is of high quality and so well made. The presentation and packaging of these placemats is so nice wrapped in tissue paper with a sweet coordinating satin ribbon, so very appreciated! An excellent shop!

I am a retired registered nurse (after 44 years working!) who loves to sew beautiful one-of-a-kind items that are as useful as they are beautiful. I have a large well-stocked studio where I create one-of-a-kind bags, purses, quilts, kitchen and dining products, baby gear and other useful items. I am happy to take custom orders. I also share lovely vintage items I find. Having owned an antique mall at one time, I just couldn't decide which I love to do more, sew or hunt for those rare items, so I am doing them both! My Etsy shop now includes carefully curated vintage items I find while out doing my thing. If there is something in particular you need to have made, please let me know and I can provide some ideas and fabric samples. If there is a vintage item you are trying to locate, please let me know that too....you never know what might be found lurking in strange and exciting places! All items ship from northern Michigan and created in a non-smoking home with no aerosolized scents. I use meticulous care in packaging all items so they arrive looking their best!
