One-of-a-kind Vintage and Textiles

I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a degree in Fibers in 2012. Finding myself in both freelance and studio jobs, I needed to satisfy my creative itch for my passion of textiles and surface design so Grandiflora Textiles was born. From building my own screen printing table and dark room, to finding a vintage wooden floor loom - all of these and more allow screen printing, dyeing, embroidery, weaving and sewing experiments to influence the products that I create.

During 2020 a year of change for us all, I found myself not wanting to make new items but aiming to create less waste and re-work vintage clothing pieces that already existed. Treasure hunting for textiles and clothing that have a story and bring you joy is my main goal. Taking permanently stained and otherwise unwanted vintage pieces and re-dyeing them to give them some fresh life helps keep textile waste out of landfills and creates a keepsake clothing piece that is one-of-a-kind and unique just like you.
