I’m Sonia, the designer behind Graphgan Patterns and, above all, a passionate crochet enthusiast. I’ve been crocheting for years, and if there’s one thing I love making more than anything else, it’s blankets. There’s something incredibly special about creating a handmade blanket that becomes part of someone’s home, celebrates a new baby, marks a special occasion, or is treasured as a heartfelt gift.
Like many crocheters, I started designing my own crochet graph patterns because I couldn’t always find exactly what I wanted to make. Before long, friends and family were asking for my designs, and what began as a personal creative hobby soon grew into Graphgan Patterns—a place where I can share my passion with crocheters around the world.
Today I create a growing collection of crochet graph patterns and graphgan blanket patterns for makers of all abilities. Whether you’re looking for a cosy baby blanket, a personalised family gift, seasonal home décor, animal designs, inspirational blankets, or unique statement pieces, I love creating patterns that help you turn yarn into something truly meaningful.
Every crochet pattern is carefully designed using professional crochet design software before being individually checked and prepared for easy stitching. My goal is to create graphgan patterns that are enjoyable to crochet, easy to follow, and produce beautiful finished blankets you’ll be proud to display or give as gifts.
My patterns include clear colour charts and written row-by-row instructions, making them suitable for a variety of crochet techniques, including single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, tapestry crochet, Tunisian crochet, and other colourwork methods. Whether you’re creating your very first graphgan or you’re an experienced maker looking for your next project, I hope you’ll find something here to inspire you.

You’re welcome to sell finished handmade items made from my patterns — credit is not required, but always appreciated if you choose to mention Graphgan Patterns as the designer.
❓Are your patterns suitable for all crochet styles?
Row-by-row patterns are very versatile and can be used with various crochet techniques including single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, tapestry crochet, intarsia, and even Tunisian crochet. These patterns are worked back and forth across rows, and you can choose the stitch style that best suits your project.
Patterns labeled “C2C” (corner to corner) are specifically designed for corner-to-corner crochet only. The written instructions for these are formatted to be followed diagonally, which makes them unsuitable for standard row-by-row crochet.
