This Privacy Policy describes how and when I collect, use, share and retain personal information when you purchase an item from my shop, contact me, or otherwise use my services through Etsy.com and its related sites and services.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third parties that I do not own or control, including Etsy and services accessed through Etsy. You can review Etsy’s Privacy Policy to learn more about Etsy’s privacy practices.

1. INFORMATION I COLLECT

To fulfill your order, I receive certain information that you authorize Etsy to provide to me. This may include:

• Your name
• Email address
• Shipping or postal address
• Details about the product you ordered
• Transaction and order information
• Personalization details, including names, dates, photographs, messages or other information you submit
• Information you provide when contacting me through Etsy Messages or email

Etsy processes your payment information. I do not directly receive or store your complete credit card, debit card or other payment-account information.

2. WHY I NEED YOUR INFORMATION AND HOW I USE IT

I rely on several legal bases to collect, use and share your information, including:

• To provide my services, fulfill and ship your order, create personalized products, communicate about your purchase, settle disputes and provide customer support
• To comply with legal obligations, court orders, tax requirements or legal claims
• With your affirmative consent, where applicable, which you may withdraw at any time
• For my legitimate business interests, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights, including improving my products and customer service, maintaining business records, preventing fraud and operating my shop
• To comply with Etsy’s Seller Policy, Terms of Use and other applicable Etsy policies

I do not use information received through Etsy to add buyers to an independent mailing list without their express consent.

3. INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

Customer information is important to my business. I share personal information only for limited business and legal purposes, including:

Etsy

I share information with Etsy as necessary to provide my services and comply with Etsy’s Seller Policy, Terms of Use and other applicable policies.

Production and Fulfillment Partners

I may use trusted production or fulfillment partners to manufacture, personalize, package or prepare products. I share only the information reasonably necessary for them to complete the ordered service.

Shipping Providers

I may share your name, shipping address, contact information and order details with postal services, delivery companies and shipping platforms as necessary to deliver and track your order.

Professional and Technical Service Providers

I may use trusted service providers for functions such as business administration, accounting, file storage, order management or technical support. These providers receive information only to the extent reasonably necessary to perform their services.

Business Transfers

If I sell, merge or reorganize my business, customer information may be disclosed as part of that transaction, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Compliance With Laws

I may collect, use, retain or share information when I have a good-faith belief that doing so is reasonably necessary to:

• Respond to legal proceedings or government requests
• Enforce agreements, terms and policies
• Prevent, investigate or address fraud, illegal activity, security concerns or technical issues
• Protect the rights, property or safety of my customers, my business or others

4. DATA RETENTION

I retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide my services and for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

I may also retain certain information to comply with tax, accounting and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and enforce agreements. I generally retain business transaction records for approximately four years unless a longer or shorter period is required by law.

Personalization files and customer-supplied content may be deleted sooner when they are no longer required to fulfill the order, provide customer support or meet a legal obligation.

5. TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL INFORMATION OUTSIDE EUROPE

I am located in the United States. If you reside in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland or another jurisdiction outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries.

The privacy and government-access laws in those countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where applicable, transfers are made when necessary to perform my contract with you, with your consent, or through service providers that use legally recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Information processed by Etsy and other service providers is also subject to those companies’ respective privacy policies and international-transfer safeguards.

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. These rights may include:

You may have the right to request access to and receive a copy of the personal information I maintain about you.

Correction

You may have the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.

In certain circumstances, you may have the right to request that I restrict how I use your information.

Deletion

You may have the right to request deletion of your personal information. I may retain certain information when required for legal, tax, security or other legitimate reasons.

Objection

You may have the right to object to certain processing based on legitimate interests. I will stop that processing unless I have compelling legitimate grounds to continue or the information is required for legal reasons.

Withdrawal of Consent

Where I rely on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.

Data Portability

In certain circumstances, you may have the right to receive personal information you provided in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
