Art, for the love of it!
Since I was very young, art has been an important part of my life. Without it, I don't know what I would do or who I would be. Although I love working with all sorts of materials, I have attempted to incorporate the things in my life that give me joy into my art. The result is the fired clay items that you see in our shop.
More than a few customers requested information on who the stone belonged to and where it was located so now, I offer some historical information with my items when I can. Sometimes I can provide information on nothing, as to that the original piece has been part of my own collection for years, sometimes I can share many facts such as military service, family history and in the case of the stone belonging to Charles Barnes I found information leading to the cause of his early death. I now wish I had more interest in the history of the people whose stones I visited and admired all those years because I was really more interested in the art of the stone rather than the names. It is true that one stone can have many, many stories to share!
Thank you all for your interest and for visiting our shop! May all of you have available to you the things that you love and enjoy to make your lives richer!
