Today, Arizona is where I call home. Originally from Michigan, I was influenced by the stained glass art of family friends I grew up with.

Being an out of the box kind of thinker, I developed a style of unique designs free of the influence of readymade patterns and let the glass talk to me instead. My finished art was one of free form glass, funky twisted wire, and decorative soldering which was very distinctive to me.

In recent years, I discovered the art of glass painting. Although it's been around for centuries, it's a pretty limited art form. I also started playing with glass in its powdered form. This allowed me to create a variegated color on the surface of the glass that became permanent after being fired in the kiln. More glass was layered and fired to create added interest. The final step was to outline and pop out certain areas with glass paint using a fine tipped calligraphy pen once again going in the kiln. This last detail gave my pieces that unique look which has become my signature style.

My art is collected worldwide, has been in many shops and boutiques in the U.S., has been featured in a glass publication, and can be seen in area events across the valley.
