In a quiet corner of Chula Vista, California, I've built something special—a little oasis called Grow Margo. It started small, just me, a few rare cacti, and a lot of determination. I’d always been drawn to these hardy little plants, their unexpected beauty, the way they could survive and thrive in tough conditions. I knew others would love them too if only they could see the unique charm each one held.

With my kids by my side, I started to collect and nurture these rare beauties—Aeonium Pink Witch, Spiral cactus, all sorts of succulents and cacti that you don’t just find anywhere. Every plant that leaves our workshop has been hand-picked and cared for, each one ready to bring a little bit of magic to someone’s life. There’s something so satisfying about knowing that these plants, grown with my own hands and in the California sun, end up brightening homes and gardens all across the country.

It’s not a big company, but it’s ours—a family business that cares as much about the people receiving the plants as the plants themselves. Every order feels like a piece of us going out into the world, spreading that love for rare, resilient plants. There’s nothing quite like seeing a customer light up when they receive their Grow Margo cactus, knowing that this little plant has a story and a family behind it. That’s why I started Grow Margo, and that’s why I’ll keep going, one rare cactus at a time.
