I just love the manikin pattern

First things first. I don’t leave reviews. I have a busy life and it just doesn’t fit in to the ‘to do’ list. But for this pattern I searched through emails, reset my Etsy password, found the order, learned how to leave a review. It is THAT good. I’ve been sewing a very long time but this pattern stands out amongst hundreds for the pattern itself (soooo many notches - thank you!) and the instructions which are absolutely superb. I loved every second of this make. If you want to make a fabric dressform, pick this one. You’ll have as much fun as I did. I did the half size, which was challenging enough, so hats off to those of you who went quarter size or smaller!

Great set of slopers for the 1/2 scale dress form.

I scaled mine to 1/5 scale. It’s very cute! The pieces become a little fiddly at that size, but the directions are clear and the pattern is well designed.

this was such a unique and awesome pattern. The thought and design that went into these patterns is really astounding. It came out just like the item description and the instructions were easy to follow. I wouldn't say this is a super beginner friendly project, but it was a lot of fun. I needed a quarter sized dress form to drape a skirt without using as much fabric for the full size one and it was perfect.

I am pleasantly pleased how well my HS Dress Form came out for the very first attempt. I am fairly new to sewing and the instructions were very clear. Although the sewing images are somewhat blury... not as clear as they could be, I was able to get the gist of it. (For some reason I couldn't upload the image of Pearl).

Great 1/2 scale to use with the Creative Costume Academy!

This was great! I found some bits super fiddly to do with a normal foot on a domestic machine. I used expanding foam to make it stiff and it came out really well
