Frequently asked questions

Will I get a refund if I cannot get seeds to germinate?

For regular listing yes I can send more seeds or refund if 50% of those seeds are not viable and do not germinate.

What if my seeds are not viable?

Send me a picture if you are not able to get your seeds to germinate and depending on what seed it is I can send you a replacement. Some seeds are excluded from this due to availability.

How do I germinate my seeds?

1 1/2 perlite and 1 part soil is what I use. Plant above soil and then sprinkle soil ontop. Water. Cover. Indirect light and temps of 70-75 perfect for sprouting. Humidity of 50-70% for most of the tropical plants

Eucalyptus : Warm temperatures 70-80 degrees. Medium humidity. 1/2 perlite 1/2 soil mix in a tray. Plant seeds above the soil and then lightly sprinkle soil on top. Mist instead of watering so that the seeds do not get disturbed and moved around.

Palms / Strelitizia : Best to soak for 5 hours. 1/2 perlite 1/2 soil mix works. Higher temperatures of 70-80%. Temperatures that fall below can cause them to take much longer to sprout. Most seeds can be planted above soil and then pressed into it with the seed still visible.

If my order is lost in transit, What can I do?

If an order appears to be lost in transit or missing but shown as delivered. You can bring the tracking number to USPS post office and get the money it is insured for. I am not responsible for packages being lost. Another option is to open a case with etsy explaining what is going on. They mostly cover lost packages.
