The assorted obelisks are equally impressive in their high level of detail, proportions, variety and most of all, their historical accuracy. I regularly give tours in a local 19th century cemetery and was very pleased to see accurate motifs (anchor, laurel wreath, memento mori and crosses) not only represented on the pieces, but showing a very high level of detail. Once finished in an appropriate stone color and dry-brushed in white, all of the detail really pops! The obelisks also accurately represent the evolution of the design, from the early smaller obelisk on a pedimented column to the impressive tall full design on a foundation base. Very well done, and best of all, for a really good price.

I was astounded by the exquisite detail and historical accuracy in these cemetery memorial castings. I've given tours through a local 19th century cemetery for about forty years and can attest to the craftsmanship in these miniatures. Not only are the designs accurate but the names and dates on each are easily readable. I primed the castings with a flat gray spraypaint. When thoroughly dry and cured (24 hours) gave all a coat of light gray flat craft paint. I finished by dry-brushing with white craft paint to pick out the details. The results are outstanding. These are truly works of art.
