Announcement    Thank you for visiting Gypsy Chic Studio. My name is Sheri Ritchie, and I am a ceramic sculptor living in the Pacific Northwest. Each of my pieces are made with loving intention - from me to you and include a Rose Quartz gemstone representing “Unconditional Love”. I absolutely love making these pieces and from a very early stage in the creation process they each have their own unique personality……designing them is a joy! :) No two are ever alike.

♥ “Simply Love” reminds us to open our hearts to giving love with ease, joy and grace.

Thanks for visiting my shop…I hope you enjoy!

    About the artist...

I've been blessed with travels, adventure and some pretty amazing people in my life.  My work is an accumulation of these memories and experiences that inspire a constant sense of wonder and inspiration.

Working with clay is a form of meditation for me and essential. It allows my imagination a voice and provides an alluring mystery as each piece unfolds. I start with a basic idea, the outcome is always uncertain until that final moment of completion. This is the joy of creating!

My work in ceramic sculpture has been consistently figurative, with an emphasis on adaptations of the female form. I am drawn to smooth, flowing, surfaces and intrigued by the idea of balance without symmetry.  I strive to create a flow and movement in each piece that suggests a sense of grace, confidence and complexities of the female spirit.

In addition to my passion for clay, I enjoy photography and work in mixed media art.  In the works:  a new series of photography called “Wild Earth Art” - an up close and personal look at organic surfaces and the colors of nature.  I am always excited to explore new ways to create!
I invite you to join me in this visual journey...

    REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES:

It is important to me that you are happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied please contact me first and then return the item within 7 days in it's original packaging and condition. I typically pay more for shipping than is charged the customer so refunds will be minus any shipping overages. Return shipping is the customers responsibility. Unfortunatly, I cannot be responsible for returned items that get lost in the mail or damaged.

If your order arrives broken, don't worry, we can find a solution! It is rare that a piece is broken in the mail - but it can happen. All packages are insured and you will receive a refund. If this happens to you, here's what to do:

    1. Immediately photograph the package, interior packing and the broken piece(s).
    2. Contact me ASAP.
    3. A refund will be issued once all information / photos are received.

CARE: Wash gently with mild soap and water. Handle with care. Fragile.
    Payment
I accept Etsy gift cards, Direct Checkout and Paypal.
    Shipping
All orders are sent within 1-3 business days. Orders are typically shipped via USPS priority mail, are insured and generally arrive 2-3 days after shipping.

If you would like to upgrade your shipping (RUSH, UPS or FedEx) please contact me before you make your purchase. I am happy to accommodate you, if possible.
    Additional policies and FAQs
I try to accurately describe and photograph each piece. Colors may look different in real life or may vary on different monitors depending on your monitor settings. I will be glad to send additional photos if needed.
