Our Story: How HAPPYSTACK was born.
My name is Jeanne Hall and I'm the Founder and creator of HAPPYSTACK®. Our specialty Pet Homes grew out of a desire to provide shelter for my rescued cat, Buddy. A beautiful Siamese/Tabby with crossed blue eyes Buddy had been abused, was hungry, scared and initially very cautious of me. Buddy had been declawed so was unable to defend himself yet he refused to live inside, his escape tactics were legendary! After a scary close encounter with a coyote I knew from that harrowing experience that I needed to build a safe haven for him outdoors, HAPPYSTACK® was born. Buddy lived a nice long life after his coyote scare and I am grateful for his time in my life, Buddy inspired me to create and provide kitties everywhere with their very own HAPPYSTACK®.
My current kitty love, "Happy" strayed into my life after discovering a HAPPYSTACK® on my deck and he decided to stay. A refuge where he could play, feel safe and escape through the abundance of levels and entry holes in the Happystack, he had the perfect kitty fort for protection and a safe place to sleep. When I finally let Happy spend the night my life became a continuous adventure with live rabbits, woodpeckers, pigeons, mice and of course raccoons that Happy welcomes into the house through his catdoor. Catching and releasing his little friends is always a challenge. Happy has a HAPPYSTACK® inside and one on the deck, his 'Happy Homes'. I can honestly say that he's one 'happy cat'!
