Antiques and Collectibles Are Our History

My husband and I started into collecting antiques approximately 50 years ago when we were first married going to flea markets, auctions, and antique stores. In the early 1990's, we decided to start selling antiques and displayed and sold antiques in antique malls, antique shows, and online. I have spent many hours researching items first with reference books (which I still use) and of course now with the internet. I have learned a lot by talking to other dealers and of course, my customers have also taught me a lot. I never have stopped learning. To me antiques tell our history of how people lived and what items were used to make their life easier. I love kitchen gadgets! So my hunt goes on and I am still learning and I love it.

Frequently asked questions

How to report receipt of damaged Items.

If items in your package are damaged due to shipping, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a claim with USPS. Keep box and all packing materials and take them with the item(s) to a USPS Office. You can also file a claim online on their website. If you need any help, contact me and I will happy to help. Note: If there is more than one item in the shipment and only one is damaged, you must take all items to the post office not only the damaged ones.

Can items be returned?

My shop policies are no returns or exchanges. All items are vintage/used and sold as is. Please read description and check photos carefully for condition of items. In circumstances where a purchase is made and doesn't fit, contact me. If the buyer made the error in measuring, I will accept the return with the buyer paying return postage.

Can I make an offer on an item?

If the item is not on sale, I will consider all offers. Please note that because of the item and offer made on it, I may not accept it.

Why is shipping so expensive?

Please note that I cannot control the cost of shipping. I ship all items through USPS because it is the most cost effective. Shipping costs are based on weight of package, size of package, and how far from Pennsylvania it is being shipped to. With large boxes sometimes an inch or two makes a big difference in cost and I try to ship in the smallest box, but the most important thing is to make sure the item is protected. If I am able to use a smaller box than was estimated, I will refund the overage.

Special Requests

Somes buyers ask if I have more than one of an item listed or if I have another of something was sold. Please contact me because sometimes I do; and if not, I frequent antique stores and thrift stores so I will look for the item. If I find one, I will list it on Etsy and notify you. I will not sell any item except on ETSY!
