Hustle & Hide was birthed in 2015 by Teddi and Tyler Cripps on the simple truth that there is profound beauty in the connection between maker and consumer. Living with intention. Purchasing responsibly. Continuously striving to perfect a craft. This is what we’re all about. And, well, creating simple, beautiful leather goods in the process.
Somewhere along the way, the value of purchasing goods with intention was lost. It became more about fast fashion, and the beauty of the handcrafted slowly dissipated. We long to bring this maker/consumer connection back full-circle. Our main intention in doing so is to create goods that can withstand the test of time, and design with a sense of timelessness and longevity, while still speaking to ones individuality and unique style.
Our designs are inspired by our love for the simple things in life. Drawn to the organic, unique, minimal nature of leather and its ability to withstand wear throughout the years, we believe that the marriage of our simplistic design and high-quality leather is key to what makes our work transcendent of trends and fashion excess.
It also doesn’t hurt that we LOVE. WHAT. WE. DO. And are passionate about our craft. We want our work to communicate this love and translate into kickass, purely handcrafted, intentionally designed leather goods - and best of all, with every purchase made, we maintain a direct connection between our hands to yours.
