Frequently asked questions
SHIPPING
Items are shipped during the time specified on the individual item. You may receive an email from Etsy that I have shipped your order. Please be aware that Etsy automatically sends you this email when I purchase the shipping label. I may not actually ship the item until the next working day.
Items are generally shipped via Royal Mail, or Royal Mail International Standard. If your item is very valuable or you need it in a tight time frame, I recommend purchasing a shipping upgrade. If none is available, please send me a convo to discuss.
QUALITY CONTROL
I take great care that all items should be as perfect as possible. However, since they are handmade, some very minor imperfections may be present. If you are not satisfied with any item, you may return it for a refund, as per the conditions in my policies.
IF I NEED TO CLARIFY SOMETHING REGARDING YOUR ORDER...
If I have any question regarding your order, I will usually contact you via Etsy conversation, so please keep an eye on your messages after you place your order, or let me know if you prefer that I email you at the address linked to your Etsy account. If you use guest checkout, I will email you.
SEASONAL ITEMS
Please note that this shop is in the UK, and items are shipped via Royal Mail. Royal Mail’s worldwide delivery aim is 6-7 working days; however, they do not consider items lost until 25 working days after the expected delivery date (6 weeks and two days after posting).
I will cancel and refund any order which I deem has no chance of arriving before the holiday; if I think there is a reasonable chance that it will arrive on time (6-7 working days), I will send it. However, please be aware that even if you order 2-3 weeks before the item is required, it may not arrive on time, and if it is personalised, I will be unable to refund it as per my policies.
CANCELLATION BY ME
I reserve the right to cancel and refund any order, for any reason and without giving a reason or explanation. If I need to cancel, I will endeavour to do this as quickly as possible.
CANCELLATION BY CUSTOMER
The standard etsy terms and conditions do not allow me to set my policies to longer than 7 days for cancellations. However as a seller based in the UK, my shop is governed by the Consumer Contract Regulations. I therefore do accept cancellations for eligible products (customised, personalised and digital items are not refundable) from the point of sale and up to 14 days after delivery. Refunds can only be given once the item has been returned. I recommend that you retain proof of postage for returned items, until I have received the item and refunded.
RETURN POLICY
Customised, personalised and digital items are not refundable. Etsy currently set the return policy on the listing as a whole. This presents a problem for listings where the customisation/personalisation is optional. The policy for such items in my shop is set as non returnable, but should the purchased option be one of the standard ones (not customised or personalised), the item would be returnable and refundable (if in perfect and unused condition). Please contact me with any issues.
