Items that feel like the warmth of sunshine
These days, we’ve found a way to streamline and mass produce almost anything. As a result, spaces start to look similar. Most items will have the same sleek ‘modern’ look. The art and craftsmanship are being designed out of items for the sake of functionality, ease of production, and cost. Here at Hall of Summers, I want to bring back items that while still functional, have that extra bit of magic in them. Each item is designed, printed, processed, and assembled by me. I hope that as you bring them into your space, it brings you a little burst of beauty, whimsy, and a touch of sunshine.
Why 3D printing?
For the average person, there is no easy and affordable way to access the means of production, but with the growing accessibility of 3D printing, it’s now easy to bring my designs to life. I’ve always loved 3D modeling in blender and have been able to make some cool sculpts and models, with 3D printing, I can now have them as physical objects I can use and share with others. I combine 3D printing with other mediums like clay, resin, plaster, and paint to create my pieces.
