Somos una pequeña empresa de madre e hija que se centra en mantener vivas las tradiciones de tejido a mano y forja a mano. Nuestro tejido se completa completamente a mano en nuestro estudio en Salt Lake City, entre las magníficas montañas Wasatch. Todos los artículos tejidos a mano están hechos a mano de fibras naturales, evitamos el uso de fibras hechas de plástico o acrílicos. We are a small mother and daughter business that focuses on keeping the traditions of handweaving and hand forging alive. Our weaving is completed entirely by hand in our studio in Salt Lake City, among the magnificent Wasatch Mountains. All handwoven items are crafted from natural fibers, we avoid using fibers made from plastic or acrylics. We focus on purchasing most of our fibers from small local businesses here in the Salt Lake Valley. The weaving process is slow and labor intensive, and you may see that reflected in our prices to ensure we are getting a fair wage for our labor.
The hand forged side of our business is still in the works, but our forge is located in the Northwoods of Wisconsin in Burnett County. We plan on responsibly forging among the pines using traditional hand techniques and a charcoal fired forge.
From time to time we will also produce handcrafted items related to our skills in woodworking and needlework. Stay tuned!
