I cannot say enough amazing things about Saovaluck and these incredible, perfect replica ruby slippers! I have been researching the specific pair that these are modeled after, known as the "Witch's Shoes" for over a year now, so I'd been looking for a perfect recreation for a long time and when I found their work, I gasped! The entire experience of buying them was wonderful from start to finish. These were discounted because of the little bit of additional kid leather, but I don't mind at all because everything else is so exact in every way! The pair I purchased also didn't have the handwritten #7 Judy Garland inscription on the inside at first, but Saovaluck was so understanding and willing to add it, as well as answer all of my detailed questions! These ruby slippers are a perfect replica and made in the same way as the originals. They are an example of painstaking craftsmanship, with each sequin, rhinestone and bugle bead individually sewn onto the shoe like the MGM seamstresses did in the 1930s. Although not cheap, worth every penny for both the finished result and to reflect the hours that must go into crafting these exquisite shoes. I ordered a pair in Judy Garland’s size 5B and Saovaluck kept me up to date at every stage of their construction, sending me messages and photographs to describe and show each stage of my shoes’ creation.
