Have you heard of Rancho Cordova? No? Don't worry, no one has. It's in the Greater Sacramento area, Northern California. You will agree that this name is superior to its original name, Hangtown Crossing. Well and/or Dah.

Recently we decided that we are good enough to be a city and inflicted a "Great Chasm" onto our Sacramento brethren. They pouted for a while, but since nothing really changed, they forgot about the whole ordeal soon enough. Silly them -- in 2010 Rancho Cordova was named as a winner of the All-America City Award.

Basically, think of Rancho Cordova as of Scotland that actually made it. Independence! So, yeah, eat that, our imaginary nemeses...

Anyway, this Rancho Cordova place is where I am from.

I am an electrical engineer by education who decided to become a starving writer by trade. I think that happened sometime after the business school? I am not hundred percent clear on the particulars.

I like fixing and modding things; probably have more tools than I need.

Good with my hands, that goes without saying; however, I said it anyway. Because, and please follow the logic here -- I can fix/mod/make most things, but I cannot fix a car. To paraphrase Oddball: "I know how to ride them, but I don't know what makes them work." So, good with my hands, BUT not with fixing cars. So, don't even ask.

My preferred materials are those that feel good to the touch: metal, silk, wood, etc.
