HandmadeExclusives

Each card from Handmade Exclusives is an original, designed and hand painted in watercolors by Neena A Kumar. A self taught artist, Neena paints and draws from her studio at home.

Since these cards are all painted one at a time, no two cards will ever be identical. The designs you order will be what you ordered but strokes and spatters will not be identical to what you see in the pictures.
The notecards can be customized with specific messages, such as for birthdays, wedding anniversaries, wedding invitations, bridal showers, baby showers, announcements, "thank you" notes, etc. They also make excellent teacher's gifts and can be framed as wall art, individually, or as a set.

From Black and White to Color....

One fall evening in 1985, while watching TV with mom, I tried drawing with the speedball pens and india ink for the first time. A simple flower, on a sketchbook page. I asked mom if she would buy it for a greeting card. We talked about how much I should charge for it. The price we put on it was 75 paise ( about one and a half penny). Next morning, I took it to school with me...A class fellow bought it and told me that he would pay more if it was in color. That day, Handmade Exclusives was launched.
I have made cards since then, starting with pen and ink, moving on to oil pastels and settling on watercolors.
I love to draw and paint and hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy making it.
