My passion for sewing started over 50 years ago. It was love at first sight. As a child, I was fascinated by the beautiful creations that could come out of putting together seemingly different pieces of fabric and trim with a thin needle and fine thread. I started off designing and sewing clothes for myself, but my passion for sewing sparked even brighter when my children, nieces, and granddaughters came along. My heart would melt seeing the little girls in their cute dresses, and I was excited to have more opportunities to sew! For every occasion, from birthdays to holidays to casual wear, they always had a new dress or outfit.
As the girls grew older, I moved on to different sewing projects around the home, such as window treatments, pillow covers, duvets, and any other decor pieces I could think of. When I ran out of sewing projects, I turned to knitting and crocheting (check out some pieces in my shop!).
What sets my dresses apart from the others is the quality of the gowns and attention to detail behind every stitch. I choose long-lasting fabrics that are elegant for formal wear and others that are endurable for everyday wear but still machine-washable. I understand busy family schedules, so I do not make my dresses out of dry clean-only material.
I have always loved seeing the smiles that come with the girls putting on my dresses and the glee they get as they twirl around feeling like princesses.
