In 2014, Carolinas Cornerstone Church - International Missions partnered with Living Hope for Children after being at the Christian Alliance for Foster Care & Orphans (CAFO) in Chicago, IL. In 2015, CC had their first team set-off for Uganda in plans to minister in LHC's newest care point in Kigadi. The team fell in love with the men, women, and children vowing to keep coming back. Since then members of the original team have kept that promise and have continued to return to Kigadi in partnership with LHC. The lead of International Missions, Meghan Yates, has been part of the original team and since 2018 has led teams to Uganda. While annually raising funds for the ministry to include in 2020, bringing awareness to the need for food and supplies during COVID. It has been a burning passion for her to do more. In early 2022, during a trip back to Uganda, Meghan decide she would start making plans to help Artisans and Orphans more. Upon the return of that trip, she meet with key leaders of CC to make a way for CCIntMissions on Etsy to be created! Now, we are here launching Etsy LIVE and could not be more thrilled for CC and LHC. We are giving the praise and glory to God.
