Made For Joy!
Hi! I'm Michelle. I am a museum curator and I teach art workshops to children and adults. I enjoy using my creativity to give hope and encouragement others. My pieces emphasize the power of the written word, especially, the Word of God. I find inspiration from life and nature. The things of simple beauty that bring relief to everyday living. At the heart of each piece is to awaken joy and plant seeds of hope to make life better for others.
My look has a touch of whimsical flare with a vintage/rustic vibe and my products are made for the entire family to reap the benefits. I take a DIY approach to life and enjoy the process of exploring ideas and then sketching out the designs on boards or canvases to paint.
I'm am passionate about children knowing how much they are loved and to help them comprehend their value and worth in life. Through my children's book, Happy Heart: Fill'er Up!, I use the character, Happy Heart™, to help children build strong character and learn to plant the Word of God in their hearts; so they may know the joy and peace only His love can give them. It's my heart for kids (of all ages) to know how much God loves them and for them live a life of restoration and freedom....and to know they were created (made) for joy! In His presence is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11).
