My Etsy shop HappyTwiddle originated from a hobby that got out of hand. As a child I already liked to be creative, and that hasn't changed ever since.
Nowadays, creating beautiful, new things brings me relaxation in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It is nice to work with my hands and be creative.
About 5 years ago, during a holiday in the middle of the beautiful mountains in the South of France, I met a sweet and very creative woman who gave jewelry workshops. There I found my passion for jewelry making (thank you dear Nina!).
HappyTwiddle means; happy "fiddling and twiddling". I chose this name for nostalgic reasons, because when I used to tinker as a child, my parents often asked me: 'Are you enjoying your fiddling and twiddling?' It made me feel very happy and loved back then and it still does.
The name HappyTwiddle was therefore quickly chosen!
The common thread in my designs is nature, the beach and special moments or events in my life. These things inspire me and the feeling it evokes in me is reflected in my work.
I like to design with bright and earthy colors like turquoise, green, blue, red, yellow, brown and black.
I use different shapes, such as seed beads, round beads and disc and chips beads.
In my Etsy shop you can see that I enjoy working with many different materials. Here you will also see the love for nature and the beach.
In addition to the Miyuki Picasso beads, I also like to work with natural stone beads, coconut beads, Czech glass beads, bone beads, shell, wooden beads, Bali Tribal and with silver and bronze Celtic beads.
I let my imagination run wild while combining different fashion styles, such as Boho, Hippie, Gypsy, Ethnic, Earthy, modern stylish and dainty, simple minimalist.
