Hardline DIY Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information I collect when you buy from my Etsy shop, how I use it, and your rights.

INFORMATION I COLLECT
When you buy from Hardline DIY, Etsy shares some of your information with me, such as your name, email address, and order details. If you message me through Etsy, I'll also have the contents of those messages. Because everything in my shop is a digital download, I don't need or use a shipping address, and I never see your payment card details. Etsy handles all payments.

WHY I USE YOUR INFORMATION
I use your information only to:
- Deliver your digital files and complete your order
- Answer your questions and help if a file won't open
- Keep records needed for taxes, accounting, and legal requirements
- Handle any dispute or problem with an order

I rely on these legal grounds: completing the purchase you asked for (contract), keeping required records (legal obligation), and running my shop and resolving issues (legitimate interests).

WHO I SHARE IT WITH
I don't sell, rent, or trade your information. I share it only when needed:
- Etsy, which runs the marketplace and processes payments (see Etsy's Privacy Policy)
- Tax, accounting, or legal professionals, if required
- Authorities, if required by law

I don't send marketing emails or unsolicited messages.

HOW LONG I KEEP IT
I keep order information only as long as needed to provide the service, handle questions or disputes, and meet tax and legal record-keeping rules, typically up to 7 years for tax records.

YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, including the EU and UK, you may have the right to:
- See the personal information I have about you
- Ask me to correct it
- Ask me to delete it (unless I'm required to keep it)
- Object to or limit how I use it
- Receive a copy of it
- Complain to your local data protection authority
