Growing up in Osaka, and I have used Sakai's knives for many years. After moving to America, I felt the importance of Japanese tradition and technique, and Hasu-Seizo began with the desire to let you know the tradition of this Japanese Sakai knife.

This knife maker is Sawakazuma from Echizen city, Fukui which is located along the Sea of Japan. Echizen knives have a long history, dating back 700 years. While Japanese knives as a whole are typically designed with thinner blades than their European counterparts.

Custom and personalized orders
Custom orders can only be modified or canceled with 24 hours of when the order was placed. Custom orders are done in Japan and it will take 1 month to 3 month, and international shipping. It depends on the order.
