When Hobby Becomes Haunting
It all started—too many years ago now—in my father’s basement wood shop.
A hand-powered drill, a block of wood, and a kid with no idea he’d just found a lifelong habit.
I’ve been creating ever since. Sometimes practical. Sometimes a little weird. Always something I’d want myself. Over the years, the tools changed. The projects evolved. The garage filled with leather scraps, scorched acrylic, and the smell of beeswax and laser-cut edges. And somewhere along the way, it stopped being just a hobby.
That’s how The Haunted Knoll came to life: slowly, experimentally, and with a lot of glue that may or may not have been ghost-approved. A concept built on curiosity, not category. Driven by a simple desire to learn and to make. "I wonder if..." That's the core.
By day, I work in accessibility. By night, I craft keychains, leather goods, and haunted curiosities that suit my fancy. Every item that leaves the Knoll is made with care, character, and a little whisper of chaos.
Unofficial Staff:
• Seymour – The original ghost and founder. Rarely seen, always watching.
• Clyde – Garage supervisor. Clocked in. Loafing. Somehow still employed.
• Hazel – Quality control. Often judgmental. Always right.
• Norman – Font selector and color coordinator. Full of doubt, poor boundaries.
• Mavis – Chaos intern. Easily startled, deeply committed, and constantly amazed things work.
Everything is made in small batches with high standards and low tolerance for junk.
If it wouldn’t make my inner perfectionist — and outer ghost team — proud, it doesn’t ship.
We don’t make things we think will sell. We don't have a niche. We make things we want — and hope you’ll want them too.
A little spooky. A lot high-quality.
Elegant. Offbeat. Built to last.
