This jacket is absolutely exquisite. It is very soft. For some reason, I expected it to be stiff, but it is much like a soft sweater cardigan in texture and comfort. The colors in combination remind me of elegant Easter eggs in straw (soft straw), with the unexpected sparkle of the gold thread like a buried treasure. It is a real privilege to own this work of art, directly from the artist, and a great thrill to wear it! Also, the principle of Saori weaving is fascinating in the sense of seeing the artist Erin's immediate life, mood, thoughts, etc., captured in the weave, like a candid, rather than posed, photo. The jacket arrived beautifully wrapped with a lovely note and with fast shipping too! Forgot to mention that it fits perfectly, in accordance with the size description.

I have woven item for 12 years so it is rate for me to purchase others work. I am beyond impressed at the design and workmanship that went into this vest. The colors are a vacation in the Caribbean and the design is figure flattering. Erin’s work has integrity and durability which is not always present in Saori type weavings. I am thrilled with both pieces I purchased from Erin and look forward to more of her creative outfits.
