This shop began after I lost my dad. I couldn’t imagine simply donating his belongings or letting them end up in a landfill. His things carried stories, history, and pieces of the life he lived. As I sorted through them, I realized how many beautiful, well-made items end up discarded long before their time. I wanted to honor his memory by giving meaningful pieces a second life — not just his items, but all the forgotten treasures I came across.
What started as a way to heal and preserve something of him slowly grew into a passion. Thrifting, sourcing, restoring, and listing these items became a creative outlet, a form of storytelling, and eventually, the foundation of Hawk & Bloom.
Every piece in this shop is handpicked with intention.
I look for craftsmanship, warmth, heritage textures, and small details that deserve to be appreciated again. From vintage apparel and cozy knits to Southwestern jewelry, miniatures, and nostalgic home accents — everything here is cleaned, photographed, measured, and described by me personally.
Hawk & Bloom is also a tribute to my parents:
• my dad, who always showed up like a hawk — steady, protective, and present
• my mom, who loved cardinals, sunflowers, and beauty in the small things
Their influence is woven into every item I curate.
My hope is that each piece finds its way to someone who will love it, use it, wear it, display it — someone who will give it the next chapter it deserves.
