Secret Origin!
Comic books and their stories were a big part of my life growing up.
My dad collected comics since he was young and would take me with him to our local comic shop every Wednesday for the latest issues of our favorite comics. From an early age, my world became populated by men and women in colorful costumes with special powers and abilities that they used to help others.
I bonded with my dad over these heroes and their stories. Their exploits helped teach me responsibility and empathy. Their stories encouraged me to start reading at an earlier age. I cannot overstate the impact that these comics had on me.
My father passed away a few years ago, but the trips to the comic shop continue, now with my son and daughter. Their comics are now kept with mine, which were combined with my dad's, and our collection continues to grow.
I began making dividers a few years ago to keep this collection better organized, which is where the idea for this shop began.
