Carving my Niche!
My idea for the Token came when they first printed the Saheli/Cat Combo and I was driven to try and make a modern viable version of the deck. I failed at the archetype, but in the process I knew that I needed to create metal versions of the titular cat and stronger, more durable, and more unique metal tokens. I was also tickled by the idea of mashing up pop-culture IPs with MTG, before Universes Beyond I might add!
I then set out to discover how this might be done and went to work prototyping and developing the process. Outside of my day-job I used all of my free time to work on designs and add to my catalog of tokens.
In 2024 I took the next step in the journey by beginning to teach myself woodworking. I have made a small selection of deck-boxes and plan to add more as I improve my skills. I also will list some other pieces like dice rolling trays, catch-all trays, wall hangings, and other wooden goods.
Please reach out with your ideas for custom pieces and if I am able, I will help to make them reality! That could be a custom deck-box, a custom token, other game accessories, or something completely unrelated like a keepsake or gift for a loved one; I just love solving the design process, solving the problems, and seeing people's ideas come to life!
