Todo comenzó en 2010 cuando una niña, que no tuvo suerte, decidió hacer los regalos de Navidad de su familia ese año. Ella pensó que sería más barato que comprarlos. Después de un viaje a la biblioteca, Heidi llegó a casa con una pila gigante de libros de artesanía. Heidi hizo cajas de baratijas de modge podge, velas y jabones para las fiestas. Su familia estaba tan cosquilleada por estos regalos hechos a mano que le sugirieron que debería probar suerte en la venta de ellos.
La llama de crear cosas creció lentamente en el corazón de Heidi hasta que un día deseó poder hacerlo para ganarse la vida. Trabajó horas interminables en un trabajo ingrato y agotador y deseaba mucho poder hacer lo que amaba para ganarse la vida. Un día su deseo fue concedido: fue despedida de su terrible trabajo. Ahora Heidi podría haber salido corriendo a buscar otro trabajo mimado... o podría dedicar todo su ser a hacer un pequeño negocio que podría llamar suyo. It all began in 2010 when a girl, who was down on her luck, decided to make her family's Christmas presents that year. She figured it would be cheaper than buying them. After a trip to the library Heidi came home with a giant pile of crafting books. Heidi made modge podge trinket boxes, candles, and soaps for the holidays. Her family was so tickled by these handmade gifts they suggested she should try her hand at selling them.
The flame of creating things slowly grew in Heidi's heart until one day she wished she could do it for a living. She worked endless hours at a thankless backbreaking job and wished very hard to be able to do what she loved for a living. One day her wish was granted- she was laid off from her terrible job. Now Heidi could have gone running to find another crumby job... or she could throw her whole being into making a little business she could call her own. Luckily she was just crazy enough to take a risk on chasing her dream. And the rest, my friends, is history...
