Care instructions
Tillandsias are called “air plants” because they require no soil to grow but they definitely need water to survive. We recommend letting them soak* in a bath of water for 20-30 minutes once a week or give them a thorough misting with a spray bottle 2-3 times a week. After soaking, gently shake the plants to remove any excess water and place them in an area with good air circulation where they should be able to dry off within 4 hours to avoid rotting. DO NOT USE DISTILLED WATER as it will pull minerals from the plants. AND DO NOT USE SOFTENED WATER as the salt content will harm the plants. Filtered water, bottled water, reverse osmosis (RO) water and tap water that has sat long enough for the chlorine to dissipate are all fine.
