Here's a bit about us!
Hi there!
My name is Tammy and I'm the owner/operator/idea-machine of HemHouse. HemHouse is my craft room, and Wedding Garter Canada is my favourite thing to come out of it!
I was taught how to use a sewing machine when I was 5 years old in Ottawa, Ontario, by my mother. We made a tiny beanbag bear from a boxed pattern and gave it to my Nana for Christmas. (Not to brag, but I've entered my 30’s and Nana still uses that bear as a doorstop!)
Since then, I’ve moved almost 20 times in search of adventure and happiness. Now, home is Calgary, Alberta and I LOVE IT HERE! I’m ready to grow some roots and really make this place home. I think it’ll mean good things for Wedding Garter Canada.
