Very cute piece that will be a nice edition to my newly refinished basement bathroom. My only complaint is I ordered it in white which I assumed the wood would be white … received exactly what was in the picture. Still pleased with it but it would have gone better with the rest of the room if it had been white. *update … seller is fantastic and offered to send the correct one. It’s hard to find good customer service these days … but even more importantly it’s hard to find good people on both sides of a purchase.

Retired Military family who found a love of wood and crafts and are also Nerds!

HenkelMade started with a few boards found in a dumpster at a construction site in 2015. Joe Henkel decided that he’d retrieve these boards and make something, but didn’t know what. After being inspired by homes in the area with porch swings, he decided to build a porch swing for his home. Being the business minded person she is, his wife, Jen, asked him if he would be interested in making some to be sold, and thus started HenkelMade. HenkelMade started with porch swings and then people inquired about the possibilities of creating other projects, to include personalizing these swings with names, or symbols.

Since then, HenkelMade has evolved into game tables, signs, pens and other wood crafts to become what it is today.

We currently have a strong presence at game related events along the Front Range. We’re proud to say that many of our return customers come to us and say that they came looking for us to purchase signs or check out our new selection of pens.

We are a couple who just wants to make things together. Jen is an IT nerd who uses her spare time to craft some of the cool things you see here. Joe is Retired Army who has found peace in wood working! Together we make an amazing team and love being makers!
