Nice quality board. Great seller who was quick to help resolve postal service issues.

About

Once or twice a year I do a demo of my hexgames

I was a Go-player already when I discovered Hex some ten years ago. Hex is a fascinating abstract strategy game for two players. Hex takes only a minute to learn, but a lifetime to master. I have given demo's to five year old children and participated in mathematical scientific conferences. Unlike Chess and Go, Hex is still not beaten by computer programs, although that won't take long any more, I think.

Because there were no hexboards commercially available when I started, I wanted to design and produce a really beautiful game board. I got a lot of help from designers and producers who all became friends.

Hex (1942) is the original modern classic game from which a whole family of hexagonal connection games was derived: the game of Y (1956), Havannah (1976), Unlur (2002), Atoll (2008) and Wings (2010) show how game development continues until today.
