Hey! Hey Demi was sitting at the back of my mind for years, like a lot of small business owners, the fear often held me back. I had spent a long time creating decals and personalising items as gifts for family and friends and knew that I wanted to create a brand. I eventually bit the bullet, and whilst umming and arr-ing over names with my sister my 3 year old son kept jumping in with "Demi! Your names Demi" I brushed it off, I OBVIOUSLY couldn't name a business Demi. It wasn't until we got home, switched the TV on and my son said "Mummy, can I watch Hey Demi? Oh I meant Hey Duggee" 💡ding ding ding! Light bulb moment! The name was decided, and now it was about choosing products that reflect our brand. I begun with keyrings that spoke to me, that spoke to people similar to me, feminist, left wing, mental health, lgbtq+. It then expanded into t-shirts and I know will expand further. I can't wait to see where Hey Demi goes ❤
