About HiButterfly
Work on things that make your heart sing.
That is what I do.
I fell in love with sewing and crafting at an early age. When I was young my mom taught me how to add rick rack to Princess Leia’s dress. The idea of turning something plain into something beautiful sparked my imagination. And pretty much since that time I have been remaking things. I enjoy taking something old and giving it new life. Old books turn into wreaths. Neckties become purses. And antique buttons are worn again as jewelry. Occasionally I'll even find a really neat vintage piece that can be reused in a new way.
My son pointed out that each piece I make use to be something different, "sort of like transforming caterpillars to butterflies." Hence the shop name HiButterfly.
Each piece that I make is truly original and like no other. The fun is in the detail; color combinations, the type of stitch used, the unexpected materials and whimsical outcomes.

Items are shipped 2-3 weeks after the purchase of an item unless otherwise noted within the listing. Shipping costs include packaging and supplies, box costs, and current ship rates.
Not responsible for lost or damaged items. If you would like to purchase shipping insurance, please let me know prior to purchase. I will add the appropriate charges to your custom order.

Do you mail gifts?
Yes. I mail to the shipping address that you provide during checkout on Etsy. I do not mail to the PayPal address (unless they are the same.) If your item is a gift, please let me know and I will send a note along with it.
Do you wholesale?
Yes! Please contact me for a price list.
Do you ship internationally?
I am unable to fill international orders at this time.
Can you make an apple/pumpkin/egg with my book?
Yes. If you want a special book, simply mail it to me and I will make you a custom order with your book. Prices remain the same and the order is filled after payment is received. Please convo me for address information.
Can you rush my order?
Orders are processed based on the time they are received and the shipping time quoted. If you need an item right away, please check out the ready to ship items in my shop.
