Hola, vamos a conectarnos.
Me llamo Xin. Empecé mi carrera alfarera en 2017. Nos mudamos al campo en 2014 y ahora tengo mi propio taller de cerámica en casa. Además de hacer cerámica, a veces también dirijo un taller. Tengo un tiempo difícil, así que estoy haciendo todo lo posible para sacar adelante mi negocio de cerámica.
Abrí esta tienda en línea con la esperanza de encontrar a otros que apreciaran mis creaciones: son orgánicas, imperfectas, aleatorias, extravagantes y llenas de vibras positivas. Me encantaría tocar algunas mentes y derretir algunos corazones. Que mis obras te traigan inspiración y felicidad. La tienda se llama "Hola" porque es mi forma de conectar contigo, simbolizando el significado último de todos los saludos. Siempre he disfrutado pintando y escribiendo desde que tengo memoria. Pero cuando descubrí la cerámica, ¡se abrió un nuevo mundo mágico para mí! Me encanta hacer y pintar cerámica. Cada vez que pongo mis nuevas creaciones en el horno, me emociona mucho verlas brillar después de ser horneadas. Todo el proceso de hacer cerámica me quita las preocupaciones y la ansiedad. Me da tanta alegría y esperanza. Me ayuda a superar las luchas de la vida y los momentos difíciles.
Solo utilizo materiales no tóxicos y sin plomo. Tengo un horno de bajo consumo y utilizo técnicas de cocción que ahorran electricidad. La sostenibilidad y los resultados duraderos son mi prioridad. No uso torno eléctrico y todas mis obras se hacen a mano. Las piezas de pellizco son mis favoritas. No utilizo colado en barbotina y cada pieza es única o parte de un lote muy pequeño. También utilizo embalajes reciclados. Me esfuerzo por ser lo más ecológico posible en cada paso del proceso. 🌵
Hasta ahora, mi cerámica se ha visto en The Great Pottery Throw Down, el periódico The Sun, la revista Nido, la portada del folleto de Etsy y más. Participé en el programa "Navidad artesanal" de Kirstie de 2024. ¡Puedes verla a la carta en All 4!

Hi there, let's connect.
My name is Xin. I have started my pottery journey since 2017. We moved to the country in 2014 and I now have my own home pottery studio. Apart from making pottery, I run pottery workshop sometimes too. Time is difficult so I am trying everything to help my pottery business.
I opened this online store in the hope of finding others who will appreciate my creations -- they are organic, imperfect, random, whimsical and full of positive vibes. I would love to touch some minds and melt some hearts. May my works bring you inspiration and happiness. The shop is called “Hi there” because it is my way of reaching out to connect with you, symbolising the ultimate meaning of all greetings. I have always enjoyed painting and writing ever since I can remember. But when I found pottery it opened another new magical world for me! I absolutely love making and painting pottery. Every time I put my new creations into the kiln I am so excited to see them shine after being fired. The whole process of pottery making takes my worries and anxiety away. It gives me so much joy and hope. It helps me through life struggles and difficult times.
I only use non-toxic and leadfree material. I have an energy efficient kiln and use electricity saving techniques for firing! Sustainability and long lasting results are both on the top of my list. I do not use an electric potter's wheel and all works are made with my hands. Pinch pots are my favourites. There's no slip cast and every piece of my work is unique or part of a very small batch. I also use recycled packaging. I strive to be as eco-friendly as possible in every step of the process. 🌵
