The Story
Once upon a time, there was a girl and a boy and their two dogs. Two is the perfect amount you see. They had just enough time to equally spend with both of the pups. They had one hand to hold the others’ and one hand to walk and give pats. But as it so often does in a story with a perfect beginning, there came an unexpected twist. This twist was neither fully good nor fully bad, but a twist nonetheless that set in motion a series of events that led to the creation of High Point Hounds.
Along came an unexpected brother full of energy and excitement that the pups had never seen before. The new brother loved the girl so very much, and the girl loved the new brother in kind. Who was she to say no to being his forever home. The boy loved the girl so much that he just couldn’t say no to her incessant pleading of him to stay, because who doesn't want to run a zoo?
And Jager, as the brother was formally known, came to stay with the little family. . .
All silliness and story-telling aside, I originally started this adventure as a means to work at home and spend more time with my pups. Especially with Jager being unexpectedly plopped into my lap. It eventually just became an added bonus that I was able to create durable and fashionable pet accessories as well. The goal is in sight, it requires quite a trek, but eventually I will be able to work at home full time. There will be lots of pats, swimming, hiking, and Netflix. Every purchase by our loyal customers brings me one step farther on this trek.
