I've always loved going on adventures, exploring nature and collecting things. I grew up going to my family's cabin in the Alleghenies often, so nature was embedded into my life early on.

After moving to the woods to build my own life, I became inspired to start pressing and preserving the flora that I've collected from walks on the property and framing them or using them for cyanotype prints. My favorite part about using botanicals in my processes is the experimentation and unpredictability. Every piece is truly unique in it's own way.

The name Hillside Designs is inspired by my home which lives on a hillside filled with woods and wildflower fields. All of my pieces are made from flora I've collected and pressed myself.
