The Best Handmade Gifts!
When my oldest daughter Violet started eating solids, I was so frustrated with having to change her clothes after every meal despite the tiny bib she was wearing that I took out my sewing machine, tried to remember all the sewing tips my Grandma Ginny had taught me, and made my own giant baby bibs! I also noticed that when I was washing my bibs with hook-and-loop closures, they were getting caught on anything and everything in the dryer... so I added toddler-proof snaps instead!
Soon I was making and selling my huge baby bibs to friends and family and opened my Etsy shop in 2008. Since then I've added can coolers, onesies and stickers to my shop. I hope you find the perfect gift you've been looking for!
A note about my shop name - when Violet was 6 months old she was diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia (DDH). Over the next year, she had to undergo several procedures and surgeries and spent 6 months in a full body cast. She was always so sweet and positive through the whole thing - she is my inspiration! At 7, she had to undergo yet another surgery and another 6 weeks in a body cast (not QUITE as easy as when she was a baby) - however today you would never guess that this now 19 year old had any trouble at all. She's the best!
Thanks for visiting and happy shopping!
