I am so grateful that I found this pattern! It seems like a simple project, but I just couldn't get my mind wrapped around how to make a muff for my 1860's winter outfit for volunteering at a pioneer village. This pattern made the whole process very understandable! I was worried that I wouldn't be able to follow the instructions, but I just trusted and followed them step-by-step and was able to understand the tricky part (sewing ends together with lining, etc)! (Instead of faux fur I was able to upcycle my grandmother's fur stole. And, I added a removable sheepskin lining. The instructions worked just fine.) I was able to keep my fingers warm enough while I was talking to be able to demonstrate spinning on my great wheel!
