5 out of 5 starsLove the Egyptian glass bottle! Seller was very responsive to my request for a light green bottle. Wonderful customer service! It arrived in a timely manner and very, VERY well packaged. It was almost too pretty to open! Free gift included, too! Thank you! Highly recommend this shop for unique, high quality gifts from Egypt. I cannot recommend this shop enough. Thank you so much, and I look forward to doing business with you yet again! All the best— Angela :)

5 out of 5 starsthe ring was exactly what I expected! Really pretty and the right size. the detailing in a few small areas were fuzzy but that only added to the over "vintage" look. customer service was exemplary and delivery was speedy. will definitely purchase from this seller again!

5 out of 5 starsAbsolutely fantastic! Does what I need it to do, and it arrived quick! Get a very fine tipped pen when you practice, a normal ballpoint won't fit right.

Frequently asked questions
Wholesale availability
We do offer wholesale pricing! Please contact us for wholesale pricing or visit www.discoveriesinc.com.
Custom and personalized orders
We do offer personalized cartouche pendants. Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns.
Once your order is placed, please contact us within 2 days for cancelations or changes to personalization.
Gift wrapping and packaging
We offer gift wrapping with unique Egyptian design wrapping paper, hieroglyphic boxes and gold pyramid boxes (for jewelry).
Package Delays
We cannot offer refunds due to USPS package delays. FedEx is much more reliable if you need your package to arrive by a certain time. Please select expedited shipping at checkout or contact us for expedited options to ensure timely package deliveries.
Care instructions
Silver jewelry requires occasional cleaning and extra care. Please read our blog post on how to clean tarnished jewelry. https://egyptianimports.com/blogs/news/how-to-clean-tarnished-jewelry
Missing Packages
Due to the increase in missing packages from USPS, we have decided to offer a signature required shipping upgrade option. We highly suggest you upgrade your shipping as many of these items are one-of-a-kind and cannot be replaced. If your order is not shipped signature required, we will not be able to offer a refund if the tracking says “delivered” but the package is missing.
High Value Jewelry Shipping
Please note that we are not responsible for cartouches lost in shipping. In order to be confident in delivery, please choose "FedEx 2-Day Signature Required" at checkout. If your order is not shipped signature required, we will not be able to offer a refund if the tracking says “delivered” but the package is missing.
Gold Cartouches
Our cartouches are solid gold and not gold plated!
What is the difference between 14k & 18k Gold?
The difference is this: pure gold is 24 karat, but it is too soft to work with, so silver and other metals are mixed in to make jewelry. 18k gold has 75% gold content; 14k has just under 60%. The look and feel of 14k & 18k pendants are the same, but 14k is less pure gold, and it costs about 20% less.
I/E/Y Cartouche Information
The hieroglyphic language is a phonetic language so there are three symbols that can be used for I/E/Y interchangeably. The artist chooses the symbol that will look best for your cartouche.
Customization Example
We do offer an opportunity to see the hieroglyphic symbols we will use for your cartouche. Please message us before you place an order for a personalization example.
